Title says all. From these pictures, can you tell anything that's NEW or DIFFERENT?

So, yeah, can you guess what's different? I'll give you a hint: look back at my last few posts.

Now, I shall reveal what is different:

you're getting closer! Keep going!

Almost there, keep it up!

I GOT A NEW CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAYYYYY! And it is a very elegant Canon PowerShot...bought with my own money. Yay! I'm so happy that I can do photostories and random pictures and such!

So...expect something later today! I'm definately going to be busy taking pics!!!!!!!

-Doodledog

So, yeah, the title doesn't make too much sense, but trust me, it will.

New: I am going to add a new thing called Book Reviews. After I read a book, I will review it on here, and if any of you had read the book then you can comment and tell me what you think of it. It's another way of keeping my site interesting with no pictures and all.

Anniversary: My website is going to be 6 months old on July 27th, 2010! I will probably do a short story or something...some kind of special post :)

So, that's all for now. Sorry I've been so boring lately. I'll spice things up soon, don't worry!

-Doodledog

Yay! It's the first day of summer vacation for me! :) I'm so happy!

THE DOWNSIDE:
We have absolutely NO idea what is wrong with my camera. We even got a new memory card for it, and now the thing won't even turn on unless I take the memory card out! AARRGGHH!!!!!!!! Do any of you know what's wrong with my camera???

So, I might need to get a new camera...but I really like my camera!!!! :( I'm so sad!

But, I will still try to do short stories and such. Check back soon!

-Doodledog

Why a large sigh? Well, it's a long story, but long story short: the memory card in my camera won't work, therefore it won't let me take videos or pictures. AARRGGHH!!!!!!!! Sorry. But...yeah, until we get a new memory card, there will only be a few pictures, because I can store a little on my camera battery...not very much at all, though. So, it will just be a few.

In the meantime, I have redone the format on my site...I love the header. I know it doesn't say "Girls Only" on it, but I love it because one of my favorite things in life is a blank page staring back at you, begging and pleading to be written on, to be given words that create images in the mind, that satisfy the reader.

One of the things about me: I absolutely LOVE to write and read, they are my two hobbies (besides collecting callenders...I'll show you a picture of that sometime). When I was little, I would start stories, think of another storyline, and never finish. But I came up with some good ideas. I am now writing with a good friend of mine, and idea that we have both contributed to greatly...we have been working on it for at least a year now, and we've really put our all into it. I hope to see it in bookstores soon! Then she and I will have to start a blog together and post about us...I won't tell you guys our name (the both of our names combined...it's really awesome, my partner came up with it), you'll have to find out when our book is in bookstores ;).

Well, now I'm way off subject...but I will still post whenever I'm able to, I promise. I will try to take as many pictures as possible still, but expect less than usual.

-Doodledog

Nothing new...why? My dad and I were trying to change one of the settings on my camera, and we went to "Format" and we had the option to "cancel" or "execute". We said "execute", and aparently this changed no settings, it only deleted all of my pictures and videos >_< So, I'm going to start working on my photostory, "School's Out!" because the Dolls' school gets out this week...expect a photostory....well, I want to say Friday or Saturday because THOSE ARE MY FIRST DAYS OF SUMMER VACATION!!! I'm so excited!

Expect me soon,

-Doodledog

3. I have moved the Dolls' room! It used to be by my bedside table, but it got too crowded there. Their room is now under my desk...here are pictures!

So, yes, that is their new room. The each have one containter that holds their clothes, shoes, and accessories. I wrote their initials on their boxes so they wouldn't get them mixed up. Also, that cloth that's on Elizabeth's sleeping bag (on top of her container) is now made into a dress for the dolls (see older post).

I am also thinking of sewing them an apron...the fabric I have is a kind-of light green with flowers as decoration...what do you think? I'll post pictures if I make it.

-Doodledog

Hey! I just posted....but, yeah. Anyway, over at Three American Sisters, I'm helping them make a photostory. Check back soon for it.

Anyway, since I've been gone for so long, I'm going to come back with a Short Story, and since it's Memorial Day Weekend, it'll be about...well, you can guess ;).

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
short story by: Doodledog

Felicity blinked open her eyes as sun streamed into the window. She groaned and rolled over, realization gripping her that it was Monday. Possibly being the worst day of the week, and Felicity's least favorite, it brought the end of a weekend and school-two of Felicity's least favorite things.

"Come on, Teetee, you have to get up eventually!" Lizzy said as she pulled on her clothes.

"Yeah, come on. It's Monday!" Amythest called cheerily. Teetee wondered how she could be cheerful about something like that. But she rolled out of bed and went to choose her clothes.

Once everytone was dressed, they went down to breakfast, which surprised Mama.

"What are you all doing up so early?" Mama asked Felicity.

"It's Monday! We have school," Felicity pointed out drowsily.

True, it's Monday, but you don't have school until tomorrow," Mama replied. "It's Memorial Day Weekend."

"What's that?" Lizzy asked as she scooped three pancakes onto her plate and sat down at the table.

"Memorial Day is the day we take to observe the end of the war years ago, and recognize the ones that died fighting." Mama put a plate in Felicity's hand, as she usually had to do on schooldays. Felicity was hard to make sence of and sence to before eight.

"That's sad," Thistle said unhappily. "It's nice of them to fight for us, but it's sad thinking about how they died."

"Yeah," Lizzy agreed. "I think they're mighty brave for doing what they did, though."

"They were very brave," Mama told them. "I mean, they willingly marched onto a battlefield."

"I would never do something like that," Teetee said, blinking as she just began to wake up. "I'd be to freaked out to. But if it gets us a day off of school, I'll remember them for what they did."

Mama smiled. "Well, I suppose we could do something nice today, like...I don't know, go to the beach, anything you like."

"The beach!" Lizzy perked up.

"That sounds really fun! Let's go!" Thistle added happily.

So they finished their breakfast and got their towels and bathing suits together before they piled into the car. The dolls looked at each other with smiles on their faces. And they drove off into the sunset.

THE END

Well, I hope you liked it. I had a lot of fun writing it! Please comment and tell me what you think of it! Thanks!

-Doodledog

It's been a while now, huh? Sorry about that. I've had homework, and then, on top of that, I got sick this week :P. I even had to stay home from school on Friday due to a fever!

But, on the bright side, I'm looking foreward to summer! I know some of you are already out (lucky!), but my school ends on June 10th. Two weeks more!

Also, this is a three day weekend...so, yeah. Happy Memorial Day!

The dolls are fine. They're going to post on their blog right after this.

Sorry it's such a short post...expect something soon! Short story, photostory, anything! It will be soon!

-Doodledog

I have a new American Girl dress! But it's not from American Girl...can you guess where I got it?

Sorry the pictures aren't too great...I can actually take some really good pictures, but my camera does this weird thing where it just DOESN'T take good pictures indoors...even my mom, who is very experienced in photography, can't get it to work very well indoors. Sometimes, I will take an awesome picture indoors, and I'll be so happy. I want to do a photostory outdoors, since it's so nice outside (or, it was yesterday), like a picnic or something. Sadly, it's raining now.

Anyway, did you guess where I got it?

Well, let's just say it started out as a piece of fabric....

And a little time...

On my hands....

That was a huge hint....so did you guess? If you guessed that I made it, you are correct! Yay! It's pretty raggety, I could have done better, but it was the first dress that I have ever sewn...actually, it's the first article of clothing that I've ever sewn! And it was my second try. The first time, I was sewing it on Felicity, and I accidentally sewed it to her underwear... :O But the second time, I took her underwear off, and I made sure not to sew it to HER. and it worked! Then Teetee fell asleep and Thistle modeled it for my pictures.

Thanks for reading! Please tell me what you think of the dress in a comment (I would have used two different colors of fabric, but that was the only fabric I had...)

-Doodledog

Yay! Part 5! Let's see what this brings us.

So, lets take a look at our last hint:

"Some may find this very cold, but others are so distracted by their stomach to care."

Okay, so, lets see. Maybe the freezer...right? It has food, and it would be perfect for hiding everything.

Well, it wasn't there. I nearly freezed my hand off looking through everything!

Well, where was it cold and hosted food?

The fridge.

Right! But I didn't find another clue. I found........

Lucky Bamboo! It's really cute, and I'll post pictures later.

Sadly, however, this concludes the Treasure Hunt...I'll ask the Dolls to put me on another one in a week or so.

Also, they haven't been posting on their blog very much. They have a lot of other things to do...Lizzy's been painting, Thistle's been writing, and Teetee's been seweing. They're doing these a lot more often than usual, so I'm wondering if they even want to keep their blog right now...They even found my prize from their Treasure Hunt, but they never posted it (it was a canvas for Lizzy, really cute pen for Thistle, and some fabric for Teetee).

Well, thanks for reading!
